Back from holidays, and we start with a true immortal classic of D&D adventures, this mega adventure joins together the Giant series (G), Drow series (D) and the final Queen of the Demonweb Pits (Q) modules into a 160 page revised and expanded book. The back cover tells us this is meant to be played with T1-4: Temple of Elemental Evil and A1-4: Scourge of the Slave Lords in sequence as one truly mega campaign.

This is also a really important set of modules for the history of D&D, all published between 1978 and 1980, G1, the first Giant Module was actually the first ever official TSR adventure module. All of these were written by D&D Co-Daddy Gygax, with the exception of Q1 which was mainly written by David Sutherland who’s name is missing from the title page of this for what I’m sure are complicated reasons.

If you go back to the start of this project you can find reviews for each of the individual modules compiled in this collection, so I won’t take too long of your time here, but suffice it to say that this still tops the list of best adventure of all times, and even if you don’t think it is, it’s hard not to recognize its importance in the history of the game. Without this there would have been no Drow, Mindflayers, Underdark, Lolth, Kua-Toa and so forth: Epic and Historic.
