As the Dragonlance modules came out (DL1-12 came out between 1984-86, four more will come out in the future), each of them would contain some information about the world of Krynn where players would go on the epic tale novelized in the Dragonlance Chronicles. This means, however, that there was no actual volume which contained all Dragonlance lore and setting specific classes and races in one place.

Dragonlance Adventures shows up to fill that gap but, rather than just repeating information spread among 12 modules, it actually opens the world for new adventures to be created by players. An encyclopedia of the world of Krynn but also a true game source book. It should appeal to both fans of the novels and the world created for them who don’t even play the game, but also for players and DMs aiming to make their adventures in this setting.

Full of great illustrations (which I will share in my next post) and precious information, this would have been an invaluable resource for players and fans seeking to flesh out the world with the aid of a single volume.
