With a cover that takes us back to a period centuries before the age of Chivalry, the main feature and collection of articles in this issue is about that very age, when stories about King Arthur (depicted on the cover on foot) were created to exemplify those very principles, of course the real age of chivalry took place in the 13th century while the mythical king would have lived around 500 CE.

Putting historical nitpicking aside, there is a selection of pretty useful articles on chivalry inside the magazine, perfect for campaign settings where these can take centre-stage, Greyhawk being a pretty good example of a campaign setting that can make good use of chivalric ideas in contrast to all the demons and evil being populating that particular universe. The same can be said for specific areas in other realms, such as the Knights of Solamnia in Dragonlance or the Arthurian Moonshae Islands in The Forgotten Realms.

Other articles explore the ecology of the Green Hag or the plants of the Forgotten Realms, as well as a variety of pieces exploring magical maps for Greyhawk among other goodies. Always worth leafing through Dragon, and this issue is no exception.
