What a great little book. Subtitled: The Complete Krynn Sourcebook, it isn’t exactly that, but it isn’t far away. What it is is a pretty charming collection of lore and sundry facts about the world of Krynn, where the Dragonlance universe is set and the whole thing is put forward as if it was an in-universe book edited by Tika and Caramon Majere, two major characters in the Dragonlance Chronicles and by this point in the narrative the new owners of the Inn of the Last Home in Solace.

What you get in the book is an assortment of stories such as the ones about the creation of the world and the main gods of Krynn, as well as a general timeline, the story of how all the main characters met each other,  the Races, Herbs, Rune and Songs of the world, as well as details on important artifacts as well as some famous legends.

Lastly you also get elements which while not being strictly central to the world of Krynn, do add to the charm of the book, such as Tika’s Cookbook, with recipes that you can cook in order to approximate the food of Dragonlance, this makes this book not only the ancestor of all the “in-universe” sourcebooks (like Volo’s Guide to Monsters, or Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, etc,) but also recent books such as D&D themed official cookbooks like Heroes Feast or Flavors of the Multiverse. Good stuff.
