A nice, challenging, mid-level adventure for BECMI D&D, Skarda’s Mirror puts the players in an interesting situation as they need to rescue some people who are on the other side of a mirror. Now, this is a pocket universe and as such has its own rules which will further challenge players.

An adventure that works best as a kind of side-quest to get a little bit of a break in the middle of a long campaign, Skarda’s Mirror seems like a pretty fun adventure to be had. It is also pretty rich in interesting lore about the Duchy of Karameikos (in a period before the Mystara setting was well set out, and that looks a bit different from what will be).

Interesting setback, a challenging adventure and the trip into the pocket universe that is easier to get into than get out of, all make this adventure worth the price of admission.
