The final 1986 issue of Ployhedron, the RPGA newsletter, is a bit different than usual and there might be some good reasons for that. Firstly RPGA is changing coordinator, from Penny Petticord to Harold Johnson, and secondly (A)D&D now has two whole magazines dedicated to it, the aptly named Dragon and Dungeon magazines. Having Polyhedron as a source for short modules and D&D news seems to be a bit repetitive.

Therefore, this issue, unfortunately for us who are mostly interested in D&D content, is very light on that. This can be seen by the cover which is a reference to the Star Trek TTRPG, and the module which this time gives us an adventure for the espionage TTRPG Top Secret.

Some other articles do cover (A)D&D but in more general ways, such as articles on how to coordinate AD&D games in conventions or best organize those same conventions. Of course the usual rules columns such as Dispel Confusion still cover all aspects of D&D.
