The thirty fourth volume in the Endless Quest series of gamebooks, this will actually be the first volume of the 2008 reissue of the series. It’s easy to see why, a pretty run of the mill traditional story, but competently done, with some good characters and loads of Dragons to play around with.

You play a young man who, after his village gets repeatedly attacked by dragons, finds a deeper plot involving good metallic and evil chromatic dragons and starts discovering what is making them attack the village.

Nothing to write home about, as usual the game choices are pretty linear (either you do the correct thing or you die) with choice being for the most part an illusion, which might be a deep observation about life itself, but is more likely a result of not putting too much effort into plotting branching timelines.
