The thirteenth module in the long running Dragonlance saga which corresponds, more or less, to the Dragonlance chronicles trilogy of novels, in this one the party of heroes has to cross the Evil Dragon Empire to attempt to reach the Dragon Queen Takhisis (aka Tiamat).

You do get the impression, thirteen modules into it, that they are really stretching out this thing, these modules were very successful in terms of sales, and there is clearly an attempt to milk this cow for all she will give TSR, in fact this series of modules will go all the way to DL16 before concluding this age of Dragonlance.

This being said, there is an advantage to stretching out the adventure, it means that we always get plenty of extra material covering lore and characters in the modules as well as little minigames to be included in the main story. In this module we get a Fates system in which you get to determine the true history of the Dark Queen in a randomized way through the Tallis deck that was published in a previous module.
