Another module coming out of the TSR UK stables, this is, as usual for UK productions, a bit of a strange but great and pretty original module. Your party has to fight a resurrected wizard named Nuala while fighting against rapid ageing.

So, there are mechanics here for infirmities and other effects of rapidly ageing and as you go along in the adventure the characters get progressively more frail to the point of reaching the climax of the story in pretty bad shape. This brings whole new challenges to the game, particularly seeing as most adventures and players seem to care little about the effects of ageing on characters. We know our characters are a certain age, but we’re not usually worried about the fact that “now he has back pain daily”. 

The module also has really well fleshed out NPCs which are essential to the story, and some pretty cool maps and artwork which we will look at more closely in an upcoming post!
