Created by the talented guys over at TSR UK, this module, the 10th in the B(asic) series, is a double sized volume which, as it says on the top, serves as a bridge between Basic and Expert levels of Dungeon and Dragons.

With a variety of dungeons and wilderness settings the idea of the module is to guide both DM and party from one level of the game to the next one. It’s also a pretty good module just as a production, with some really great illustrations by Helen Bedford inside, which captures the grittier look of British fantasy when compared to its American counterpart pretty well.

With some great maps, a complex plot involving secret groups going after the party, a bestiary with a bunch of cool new monsters, and a great variety of places to explore, this was pretty good value as an adventure and the uniqueness of it being a didactic bridge between Basic and Expert versions of the game made it singular enough that it would definitely be worth trying out.
