Another issue of the 36 page RPGA newsletter, which, as usual, focuses mainly on competitive TTRPG play, but not only. This issue is of particular interest for those more into the competitive side of the game, with a couple of other articles of more general interest.

Specific to competition we have the Steve Null article on tricks and techniques to be a good competitive player which is pretty useful stuff, even if much of it is of limited use for those more used to more collaborative modes of play. Also of interest to competitive players is Part 1 of Needle, a module by Frank Mentzer, the designer of competitive modules par excellence at this time. This is the first part of the competitive module used at GEN CON 17.

Of more general interest are the articles with unofficial magic spells by Jon Pickens and an article explaining how games are reviewed, which is a neat look backstage at game reviews. Roger Moore also brings us new NPCs in the shape of these nice guys you can see on the magazine cover!
