The second, and concluding, part of the “Prophecy of Brie” series (the first part was C4: To Find a King), these are RPGA competition modules reprinted as a general audience module. While the first four parts of this which make up C4 were published as RPGA3 and RPGA4, modules that were exclusive to RPGA members that could be ordered from the backpages of Polyhedron magazine, this module actually compiles modules that came out in Polyhedron (issues #16 to #19) numbered as RPGA5 to RPGA8.

So these originally came in the middle pages of Polyhedron magazine so you could detach them without ruining the magazine, but were no longer sold separately as modules. Again, you had to be a subscriber to Polyhedron, which means being a member of RPGA to have had access before this compilation came out. So that’s why we have this, making the competition modules from the RPG Association available to a wider public. Also, it gives us some cool Keith Parkinson art on the cover and Ron Randall interiors.

In terms of story it follows from the last C module, as the party has obtained all the necessary items and keys to the tomb of a king prophesied to return, but have no idea where that tomb actually is. In this module they have to find the tomb and explore it to fulfil the prophecy. Again, this is a harder than usual module, with some hard puzzles and enemies, meant to weed out weaker players in a competition environment.
