As you can probably tell from the cover this is one of the rare issues of Imagine magazine, the TSR UK house publication, that does not center D&D as its main thing. The focus here is on the Marvel Super Heroes TTRPG that TSR was pushing at this time, as it was branching out with licensed products like this, the Indiana Jones TTRPG or the Conan D&D modules.

This is not to say, however, that D&D is forgotten this issue. It’s still the company’s best seller and it would remain so, and it had to cover it to keep readers buying the magazine. After all, the corner of the magazine does say “For Players of the Dungeons & Dragons game”.

This issue we get more bits and pieces for the Pelinore setting, where Imagine modules are set and a large article on how to create and manage monsters. The last article for D&D players is a humorous festive mini-module for the Christmas season. However D&D players could also get some reviews and the usual columns on the game this issue, even with it being a Marvel centric affair.
