The last of Jeffrey Scott’s contributions to the series (his ninth) it is a Presto centred episode and a pretty good one. Here, Presto, being separated from the rest of the party due to an attack from what looks like the unholy spawn of a Grell and an Octopus, finds a ghostly girl who asks him to save her. 

Reunited with his gang they find a village which is coming apart, and has been like that since the kidnapping of the daughter of a couple, the same girl Presto had found, and who had been clearly astrally projecting (or something). Of course, as you can imagine by now, she is being held captive by Venger who can’t seem to keep still for a single episode. Clearly the girl’s powers also keep the village prosperous.

This leads to a particularly scary and freaky sequence where the village is attacked by weird winds and lightning and a disguised Venger appears as a savior accusing the party of being at fault for the village’s ills. As the villagers’ faces turn into hate filled grotesques it’s  a pretty effective horror sequence. Good episode.
