Another entry in the Endless Quest gamebooks, in this one you play Sparrow, one of two brothers who are also jugglers, travelling from town to town to make their fortune. As the book starts you are entrusted with a mission by a dying man, find the corpse of a defeated King and bury him, you get to keep the treasure that is near that King’s body.

So, of course, off you go with your brother Jay to try to bury the king and make your fortune. It’s a bit of a run of the mill adventure, certainly not one of the most memorable, but it’s still a fun one.

With a cover by Ben Otero and interior art by Kevin Nichols, the art  is always a big part of the attraction of these gamebooks, and there are some nifty illustrations here, as you can see if you swipe left on the post.
