Issue 11 of Imagine, the British TSR company organ, celebrates in this issue the fact that they are now being distributed UK wide by major newsagents like W. H. Smiths, rather than being a magazine only sold in specialty shops.

This doesn’t, however, change much of the content of the magazine, which is still relying on a couple of regular columns and a lot of reprints for its content. In this issue we have reprints of the article on the Cavalier class and Social Status tables by Gary Gygax, both of which had appeared in previous issues of the US Dragon magazine.

However, Imagine is always good in bringing players original new AD&D adventures, and they do that with Black Roses, a mini-adventure made purposefully to test the new Cavalier class. This is a fun thing Imagine does that Dragon doesn’t, they really tailor the adventures to the rules content in the articles in the magazine, which is pretty great.
