We now come to the last episode of the first season of the series, this means that we are going to have a longish break on the coverage of these episodes until we get to September of 1984 when the second season will come around. Meanwhile, though we still have the first nine months of 1984 to cover, and that is going to take a little while!

In this episode Presto as usual is less than competent with his magic which ends up separating him from the rest of the gang. On the way to reuniting and seeking for a way home, again, ou heroes meet giants and gold dragons.

One thing which is noticeable from this episode is just how loosely based on D&D the series is, neither the giant or the dragon are recognizable as what they should be. The giant should be a Cloud Giant in his castle in the sky while the Gold Dragon seems like a beast who isn’t even able to speak much less be as intelligent as Gold Dragons usually are in the game. Still, a really fun episode!
