With a fun Faerie Dragon themed cover. the interior is a lot less fun, at least for me. I have to admit to have never been a fan of Psionics and the mechanics of psionics and that’s pretty much what the whole issue is about. It’s still interesting, however, and if you are into Psionics this is pretty much an essential issue, with page after page on the subject.

Arthur Collins clearly submitted a detailed study of Psionics to Dragon and the whole thing is so exhaustive that they decided to dedicate a nearly full issue to the subject, mainly around his articles. Other authors contribute to the Psionics talk, with articles by Robert Schroek and a reprint of a Polyhedron article by Kim Mohan on the subject as well. More interesting to me is The Ecology of the Mindflayer, which is a Psionic creature par excellence, and the article is from the point of view of a Githyanki, one of their traditional enemies. Good stuff.

Also interesting is one of the few times that we actually get a full page advertisement for an upcoming adventure module. TSR was aware that they had something special in the upcoming Halloween release of Ravenloft by the Hickmans and dedicated a whole color page to it, they were not wrong!
