Centred around a reprint from the January ’83 Dragon magazine, this isn’t really the most exciting issue of Imagine, the TSR UK publication, this is the reprint of the Thief-Acrobat subclass by Gary Gygax, which also gives a theme to this month’s cover.

However there are still some Imagine specific columns that are fun, The Beginner’s Guide to Roleplaying Games is always good fun, with a little excerpt of a fantasy type narrative which is then deconstructed into game mechanics so new players and DMs can understand how you can transform pretty much anything into a mechanic.

There’s also some fiction and a short adventure for AD&D in Jack of All Trades. What Imagine does have is a pretty good review section of films, games and books that is worth taking a look at.
