In this issue Frank Mentzer says goodbye to editing duties as he moves on to bigger things at TSR and we get the first part of a several part interview with Mike Carr, mostly covering his games Fight in the Skies and Dawn Patrol, but also with plenty about Gen Cons present and past.

Spelling Bee covers Cleric spells this issue, with some clarifications on how they operate, and Notes for the Dungeon Master gives tips on how to roll up new characters after untimely demises. Particularly interesting are the Membership Drive adverts as well as the gift catalog where you could purchase some of those original RPGA modules for $4.50, which would today be worth hundreds.
