A relatively light on specifically AD&D content issue, it does however contain some articles of general interest such as a follow up to the Dragon #17 issue on Tesseracts by adding a lot more information on how to use multidimensional cubes in dungeon design, or an articles on the Planets and associated Magical properties. This last one would have been at home on any Esotericism or Occultism popular publication with references to angels and demons associated with planets as well as numbers, colors, metals, stones, plants, incense scents, Tarot Trumps and animals and so forth. It does try to make the planets fit some of the D&D ideas of planes and beings, making it a pretty good resource.

Gygax brings a column on how to play to your Alignment, with the idea that, as the title says “Good isn’t Stupid” and explaining that “goodness” is often relative to the moral and religious system followed, as well as explaining how to play different kinds (lawful, chaotic) of good.

Leomund’s Tiny Hut brings us a fresh take on Dragons for AD&D and we also get the usual reader’s mail and beastie (this month the Flolite) as well as the comic strips for Jasmine and Finieous Fingers. As an extra in this issue we get a complete new game, Ringside, a boxing simulator, which kind of escapes the remit of the magazine, not being sci-fi or fantasy, but ok.
