Dragon keeps getting longer and longer (which will also eventually mean that I will take a bit longer with updates as I have more to read through). This issue stretches to 64 pages with the largest article being one that was definitely of use to many AD&D players, as the errata for the PHB, DMG and MM were published here. They had also been added to further printings of the manuals, but people who had bought early printing had no errata unless they bought a later printing, so it’s printed here for use by DMs and players. Brave old world that had no PDFs in it.

Gygax’s From the Sorcerer’s Scroll comes back with a two page article on the future of TSR and we can tell that Gygax is just giddy with how successful the company is becoming, and he has good reason for that. In 6 years TSR went from nothing to one of the most prominent game companies in the US. The growth has been exponential and he discusses plans for the future, including some media stuff (which would probably become the D&D Cartoon Series down the line in 1983). Other plans include the expert D&D set and other ways to expand the game beyond the level 3 cap that the original basic set had.

Leomund’s Tiny Hut has a pretty good article on alternative ways to determine XP, there’s an article about Angels in D&D, the new Player rating system as well as the current player rankings for competitive AD&D. Other than that there are plenty of articles on SF roleplaying game Traveller as well as all the usual columns and comic strips.
